Handcrafted: Unlike pizza joints that get their dough delivered frozen from a remote commissary, ours is made fresh and hand rolled and tossed right here in our milling/dough room every day – out in the open for everyone to see.

There is a certain excitement to starting a new business and when that new business happens to be a restaurant, the excitement goes up a notch but when you say it’s going to be a pizza concept the excitement factor hits overdrive. Why? Because everybody loves pizza and the thought of a new place coming to town and all the endless possibilities it evokes can get anybody interested. Just think about when you were a kid and your parents said “Let’s go out for pizza” or it was time to order pizza for a birthday party, team success or work achievement, doesn’t it put a smile on your face? Pizza has always been associated with good times and happy occasions from babies being born to when the Mayor of New York bet Goodfella’s Pizza on the New York Giants winning the Super Bowl. Pizza is a universal food that young and old, rich and poor can enjoy. Show me, someone, that doesn’t like pizza, I don’t think it’s possible. This may be one of the reasons so many people want to get into this industry aside from the legendary saying of ” if you want to make a million dollars open a pizzeria”. I don’t know who originally said it but based on pizza sales in America it may have some basis in truth. I believe pizza today puts the U.S. sales at 38 billion plus, that’s right, BILLION. Add to that a total of over 70,000 pizza joints in the US and you see there is a lot to get excited about for the would-be entrepreneur and pizza aficionado alike. These numbers show how much we love pizza and how there is room for just one more place if you have the right stuff or more exactly the right dough. For me, it has always had to be fun.  Although it is very serious undertaking for many like myself that risked everything we have to start a place. Sometimes it’s hard to keep the fun in mind and keep laughing when the crunch to open is on but the old saying of nothing ventured nothing gained comes to mind. First, there is the wild idea of “Wouldn’t it be great to own my own business?” Then there is the not so wild

They want to  make a better pizza, streamline the flows or switch over to brick oven pizza  and latest trend of the Fast Casual Pizza. But this just adds to the mix of incredible people from all over the United States and even the world playing the ultimate pizza game.
